Who We Are

NNAPO is a community-led, nonviolent protection and advocacy organization based in Kauda, Nuba Mountains, South Kordofan, Sudan. We believe in the power of people to protect each other through unity, peacebuilding, and collective action.

In a region impacted by decades of conflict, we work to build resilience, restore dignity, and promote justice — without the use of force. Our work is rooted in solidarity, compassion, and human rights.

What We Do

🔹 Civilian Protection

We support at-risk communities through grassroots initiatives that enhance safety, dignity, and resilience without the need for weapons.

🔹 Peacebuilding & Nonviolent Action

We promote peace education, nonviolent communication, and reconciliation to resolve conflicts and prevent violence at the local level.

🔹 Youth & Women Empowerment

We train young people and women as community protectors, leaders, and peacebuilders.

🔹 Advocacy & Awareness

We amplify the voices of the most vulnerable, calling for justice, human rights, and accountability.
